How Technology Changed Our Lives

Easy communication: Back in the day, our ancestors used to travel miles just to deliver a message. And it was devastating when you consider the fact that some of the messages that had to be delivered were time-sensitive.

They would often reach their intended destination when the time had already passed—for example, a wedding, a funeral, or a party.

Thanks to the advent of the internet, the world is now a global village. We can now communicate with our friends, families, and even our enemies in real time. With just a click or a phone call, we can talk to anyone we want from the four corners of the world.

In addition, the transport system has taken a huge turn for the better. It used to take days or even months to travel from point A to point B. But now, we can cover thousands of kilometers in just a matter of minutes—thanks to modern technology.

Back then, moving from one place to another was a nightmare. The weather was also a big hindrance. You couldn’t travel when it was raining because pulling a cart would be nearly impossible for the donkeys.

Cooking, too, has become much easier with the emergence of the internet and smart appliances. Imagine just putting your meat in an air fryer and relaxing while the machine does all the work. Back then, you needed a lot of firewood to cook, and chopping down trees for firewood was posing a serious threat to our beautiful natural environment.
